Yoga

Yoga is a gift of self-connection. When practicing yoga it helps us to get out of our mind and into our body. Yoga does not lie in the ability to perform postures, put in how it positively changes the way we live our lives and relationships. It is a powerful vehicle to build mental and physical strength and develop patience. 


Through my own yoga practice I have developed patience, greater breath awareness, stamina and a love of my body.  Yoga has made both my body and mind more flexible than I ever thought possible. The lessons I have learned on the mat have been able to be transferred into all other areas of my life. I love that yoga is non-competitive and like to teach my clients to practice without any self judgement. 


I am passionate about sharing the gift of yoga with others. My yoga classes are classic Hatha and Vinyasa based and suitable for all levels.  I also teach yoga specifically for kids. With kids living in such a hurry up world, rushed from activity to activity, yoga can encourage self-help techniques, improved concentration and inner-fulfillment. I have also studied post and pre-natal yoga and  I am available for workshops, corporate classes and private yoga. 


Yoga and meditation can be incorporated into any coaching package. I can design and guide you through a self-practice that can form a part of your daily routine. 

Meditation

The body benefits from movement and the mind benefits from stillness.

Mediation quietens the mind and allows us to better deal with stress, anxiety and a fast moving world. It has long been known that building your inner world leads to greater happiness and peace. Creating and designing a meditation and mindfulness routine can see improvement in all areas of your life.

I believe that mediation and breath work should be an important part of any daily routine.  Being present leaves us feeling more connected with our love ones and be more compassionate and patient in our day to day lives. I can teach you methods that make mediation and mindfulness easily become a habit and a pleasure. I also work with the latest technology that can fast track you to a deeper state of meditation. These methods can be incorporated into all coaching and private yoga sessions and designed specifically to your needs.
